Cardinal Hume Centre - Design and Marketing Officer

September 2015 - Current

Key responsibilities: 

Designing materials for different income streams such as Trust             applications, corporate sponsorship and individual donors
Managing the production from concept to completion of the bi-annual        Centre Life magazine

Designing the annual report each year, including producing diagrams of         models e.g. organisational charts and service delivery
Creating templates for people around the organisation to use including         PowerPoint presentations and letterheads
Designing appeals throughout the year including but not limited to            Christmas and Lent 
Creating all digital content to support appeals and magazines, ensuring   

 each one is cross channel to maximise income
Visual identity and brand guidelines manager for the organisation.
Creating logos and brand guidelines for sub brands, for example the             Sleepout event and Better futures corporate partnerships scheme 
Currently undertaking a course in animation to improve skills
Producing video content for online marketing
Managing the print production process
Managing a volunteer who writes content for the magazines -                   providing tone and marketing advice when needed

Managing external contacts such as photographers, film makers, mail            houses and printers 
Planning for and managing marketing materials ensuring the fundraising    team have stock for events
Managing social media accounts - including creating content
Managing the budget for marketing materials throughout the financial         year

Article 25 Student Chapter - President

March 2013 - July 2014

 

My main duty was to be the point of contact between our chapter and the Article 25 associates. I also organise members and make sure they know about upcoming events. I thoroughly believe in what Article 25 aims to accomplish and the amazing work they have already done inspires me.  Article 25 is something I would really like much more involvement in in the future.
